Our Jujitsu program can work miracles.
Yes, that is a strong statement but we know it to be true. More
and more parents tell us that Top Flight’s underlying philosophy--'nothing
is more important than your child's self-esteem,' coupled with
the exceptional teaching skills of Sean Jugler have combined
to become "the best thing that ever happened to their child".
What words do parents use most often when describing their child's
improvements?: 'better concentration; self-assurance; confidence;
and respect.' And, how do they describe Mr. Jugler— 'caring;
patient; precise technique; a wonderful teacher.'
Lessons Learned:
As a student begins Jujitsu, the first lesson learned is respect.
The beginner is soon to realize that the attitude, in class
and out, must be one of love and respect, and not of violence
or aggression. Another lesson to learn in Jujitsu is patience.
A beginner soon becomes familiar with the basic blocks, kicks,
and punches. The student soon wants to move on to something
new. But, one must continually strive for refinement and perfection
through repetition. With this repetition comes patience. With
patience, we learn self-control and, without self-control there
would be no meaning behind our physical technique. A Jujitsu
student also learns concentration. Concentration is acquired
through training, by focusing on every gesture. In the end,
the results come automatically and unconsciously. |
